When I hear the word "lipo", I used to instantly think of someone having a substantial amount of fat removed. Smartlipo is not the case. When I walked into Dr. Treen's office, I was very wary about whether I wanted to go through with the procedure or not. After my consultation, I went home to think about it and continued to do research online. I was 28, ate fairly well, and went to the gym 3-4 times a week, but still was not happy with my appearance. After a couple of months, I decided to go ahead with the procedure (stomach area and "love handles"). I scheduled it right before Christmas so I would be out of work for a week just in case I needed the extra time to recover. The procedure was unlike anything I've ever done. I was awake and alert the entire time. Dr. Treen and his nurses were constantly making sure I was comfortable and sufficiently numb where I wouldn't feel any pain. A few times I felt a little bit of pressure, comparable to a pinch. After about 4 hours, 3.5 lbs of fat had been removed and the procedure was over. I was wrapped up, and on my way home. Recovery was not what I expected. I was alert and moving around the entire time. My stomach hurt just like I had done too many sit-ups. The recovery was much quicker than I imagined.

Now, 9 months later, only one of my 9 scars are visible and that is only because I know where it is. Smartlipo is not for anyone who wants to drastically remove fat, but rather for someone who needs a boost, so to speak, where diet and exercise alone are not working. People say that the best plastic surgery procedures are the ones where only you can tell you had something done. The positive results and compliments I have seen continue to inspire me to work out and eat healthy. I am very pleased with the results from Dr. Treen and would highly recommend him to anyone considering Smartlipo.

I am 31 years old and have always been self-conscious of the size of my upper arms--a gift from my genetic lineage, and one I always wished I could give back. With the help of Dr. Treen and his staff, I kind of did — through the Smart Lipo procedure. I found Dr. Treen's website while I was looking for toning options for my upper arms because I was getting married and wanted to improve my appearance before my wedding. And the Titan procedure performed after the Smart Lipo has really made a difference in enhancing my skin tone in the treated areas. I really have received superior quality care at Dr. Treen's office, and the investment in myself has been well worth it. My clothes fit and feel better, and the leather jacket that has been hanging in my closet, because it wouldn't fit over my upper arms, now fits with no problem.
